Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad

The Blue Ridge Community Theater
The black box theater seats 132, complete with lobby, box office, and backstage area. Along with four exciting main stage shows, they have planned some very special events this year, and you are invited to come out and join them for a great time!

Pickin' In The Park
An effort to encourage communities and groups across the nation to provide a place for acoustic musicians to gather weekly to play music in unstructured, low pressure venues. Live music jams and pickin' on the banks of the Toccoa River at the Horseshoe Bend Park in McCaysville, GA. Free Admission and the park is wheelchair accessible. Come out, bring the whole family to enjoy the experience. Scattered picnic tables available, nice grassy lawn but you are also welcome to bring a blanket or chair. Encourage your community to start a weekly Pickin' In The Park.
The Blue Ridge Mountain Adventure Race
The Annual Blue Ridge Mountain Adventure Race takes place in the spring and is a challenging contest with lots of surprises and some of the most stunning scenery anywhere -- plus the famous Blue Ridge hospitality racers have come to expect and enjoy.
Gorilla Haven
While not open to the public, educational visits, by appointment, will be encouraged. Gorilla Haven provides a safe "haven" and/or temporary holding facility for zoo gorillas in need. In addition, the property can be used for educational camps or programs in conjunction with schools or universities.
